Responsibilities & Context: We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, preferably within the e-commerce sector, and possess strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to drive growth in the ecommerce channel.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements that align with company goals.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure alignment of business development strategies with company goals.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
