Job Responsibilities:
∎ STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT:
∎ Assists the MD in analysis of organizational performance periodically using financial performance metrics.
∎ Analyses the business financial KPIs and translate them into operational.
∎ processes for the management to get a clear scenario of “Should be processes”.
∎ Facilitates top management decision-making by conducting appropriate analysis of data and compilation of relevant statistical analysis.
∎ Deep dives on impact of selection plans of the vendor management team and planned purchases.
∎ Reviews impact on working capital and guide business on corrective steps to keep working capital healthy.
∎ Identifies and reports long-term financial issues that may impact the organisation.
∎ Develops operating results, explanation of variances, trend and year to date reporting.
∎ BUSINESS ANALYSIS:
∎ Builds business test cases, analyses requirements to develop reports and operational models.
∎ Drives the key Business KPIs for working capital Investment.
∎ Develops project scope, ensure its acceptance and assists in its deployment in the company.
∎ Carries out feasibility study of new services and innovations from a financial perspective
∎ Creates numbers for the management in terms of returns vs cost to review opportunities and take actions.
∎ Helps the MD to company-wide performance enhancement initiatives, which will yield sustainable income improvement through expense control, new revenue sources and reduced employee turnover.
∎ Helps the technical team to understand business numbers easily through test documents and case workflows.
∎ Drives the P& L of the business by highlighting cost of services and creating accountability in the system.
∎ INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO
∎ Works on the Inventory reserve of the business to analyse fund requirements.
∎ Forecasts cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.
∎ Ensures that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
∎ Supports the MD in managing long-term and short-term investment strategies based on company’s financial goals and risk tolerance.
∎ Keeps track of all investment maturity dates and maintains records/files of investments.
∎ Develops process and control documentation for finance processes and implement best practices.
∎ Reconciles assigned balance sheet accounts and resolve outstanding open items to help in ensuring correctness of financial statements.
∎ Calculates and analyse margins per product/ service.
∎ Advises management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-range planning.
∎ FUND RAISING AND MANAGEMENT:
∎ Caters to all regulations and compliances of Bangladesh Stock exchange in line with raising of capital in relation to IPO.
∎ Assists the Finance team in preparing all valuations and monetary results of the company.
∎ Coordinates with the Company Secretary for all the requisite financial reports and initiate them.
∎ Reviews all fund management processes including documentation, tracks receipts of funds and reviews interest and principal payments to be made.
∎ REPORTS:
∎ Collates specification document to develop work flows for best results.
∎ Prepares sales and financial reports for senior management team.
∎ Discusses financial reporting models with senior management and focus on key attributes affecting business performance.
∎ Monitors and reports key parameters including pricing, attrition and forecasting for business results.
∎ Analysis of P&L Reports, Trial Balance, profits, etc.

∎ Excellent communications and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers.
∎ Proficient in use of MS Office Applications (Words, Excel, Access) and Software.
∎ Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude.
∎ Able to work well under stress in a fast paced environment.
