Responsibilities & Context:
Lead boiler maintenance team for day-to-day and shutdown activities.
Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of boiler and coal-firing systems.
Ensure safe operation of boiler, mills, burners, and pressure parts as per standards.
Identify and rectify boiler tube leakages, erosion, and slagging issues.
Coordinate boiler overhauls, annual inspections, and major shutdown jobs.
Monitor boiler performance, efficiency, and heat rate deviations.
Maintain maintenance records, permits, and statutory compliance documents.
Coordinate with operation, E&I, and coal handling teams for smooth operation.
Manage boiler spares, consumables, and maintenance tools availability.
