Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business / Social Welfare / Computer Science or IT or any other related course from a recognized University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist wireless connectivity issues between mobile devices and roaming servers in field operations, troubleshooting where necessary.
∎ Ensures correct functioning of BMIS in beneficiary registration, enrollment, household updates and commodity distribution activities.
∎ Compile and synthesize data and information from internal and external sources.
∎ Ensure Safety of data collected in the field; maintain backups and encryption of laptop data when required.
∎ Help administer BMIS system users within the project.
∎ Support for Field Monitors and reports back to the core system delivery team on state of field deployments.
∎ Report technical failures, help to replicate problems and lead field installations with system upgrades/new releases.
∎ Document technical shortfalls within the existing mobile product offering and with new version releases
∎ Prepare BMIS reports and forward them to relevant departments.
∎ Assist to prepare reports and ensure timely submission to BMIS Lead and relevant stakeholders.
∎ Maintain a neat, organized and chronological filing system, ensuring that hard copies of the recommended reports are available and easy to access at any required time.
∎ Make frequent visits to the field locations to assist in BMIS, documentation and accountability.
∎ To work with very closely with BMIS team and field team and the manager(EFSP Team)
∎ Participate in a forum of IT support staff for BMIS and CTS for sharing common experiences and troubleshooting technical challenges.
∎ To build capacity of field staff to ensure adequate BMIS coverage.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in operating and implementation of Beneficiary Management Information System is required.
∎ Solid background in the Window Operating System - XP in particular. Comfortable invoking, stopping or restarting System Services, installing and uninstalling software, creating user groups and setting up user privileges.
∎ Ability to troubleshoot IT problems - log, track and systematically troubleshoot IT problems.
∎ Ready to support end-users.
∎ Good written and oral communication skills
∎ Good command of English language both written and oral.
∎ Requires strong communication skills to interact with all levels of staff and management.
∎ Must be able to work effectively with a diverse team.
∎ Requires the ability to work under pressure and on multiple tasks.
∎ Must have a service orientation.
Salary: Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
