Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Stocking checking and ordering ingredients, Weighing and measuring ingredients, decorating pastries and other desserts using a variety of different sauces, toppings and other items.
∎ Contributing ideas to the menu.
∎ Keeping accurate records.
∎ Recruiting, hiring and training Assistants or Junior Chefs.
∎ Operating a variety of kitchen equipment.
∎ Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.
∎ Preparing work schedule and control under command.
∎ Motivate team members to get the best performance our of them.
∎ Perform any other jobs given by the management.
∎ Handle and store stock according to stock control procedures.
∎ To constantly examine food supplies to ensure that they confirm to the quality standards stipulated by the company are adhered to.
∎ The Pastry & Bakery Chef is responsible for the purchase of quality food ingredients in cooperation with the Purchasing Manager, assures the best quality for the best price.
∎ Maintain a safe and secure working environment.
∎ Be aware of duty of care, and adhere to occupational health and safety legislation, policies and procedures.
∎ Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisor’s managers of potential hazards and dangers.
∎ Adhere to the hotel’s security and emergency policies and procedures.
∎ Be familiar with property safety, current first aid fire emergency procedures.
∎ Comply with all hotel and corporate safety and security guidelines.
∎ Performing any other duties assigned by the management.
∎ In Crimsoncup a Bakery & Pastry Chef, is responsible for preparing, cooking and serving pastries in a café, restaurant or other food service settings. Working with other assistant or junior chefs, testing new recipes, and locating suppliers to guarantee a consistent supply of goods are some of their responsibilities.

∎ Duties and responsibilities:
∎ A Pastry Chef is responsible for every aspect of baking and food preparation, and their typical duties include:
