Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities in Expert Overhauling
Comprehensive Engine/Component Overhaul: Disassembling engines, transmissions, and drivetrains to rebuild or replace internal parts, including cylinder heads, pistons, rings, and valves.
Advanced Diagnostics: Utilizing computerized diagnostic tools and advanced troubleshooting techniques to pinpoint the root cause of failures, rather than replacing parts randomly.
Precision Machining & Measurement: Using precision tools (micrometers, dial indicators) to measure tolerances and conducting machining, welding, or reconditioning of components.
System Testing & Validation: Road testing vehicles before and after repairs and adjusting components to meet manufacturer performance specifications.
Quality Control & Compliance: Ensuring all work meets safety standards and environmental regulations, including proper hazardous waste disposal
