Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To ensure a broader, more objective, and industry-aligned audit approach, the auditor must have comprehensive knowledge of external audit practices, not limited to the training from a specific firm. Plan, coordinate, and execute internal audit activities across construction projects and business units. Examine and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, project cost management, and financial reporting systems. Conduct audit reviews of project budgets, material procurement, contractor/vendor payments, and subcontractor billing processes . Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS), and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., VAT, tax, labor laws) . Audit payroll, overtime, and manpower records at head and site offices to detect irregularities or ghost workers.
