Responsibilities & Context:

Media Relations & Press Communication

  • Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, feature articles, and hotel announcements.

  • Maintain an updated media contact database and establish strong working relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers.

  • Organize and host media familiarization (FAM) trips, press conferences, and interviews with hotel management.

  • Monitor media coverage and prepare detailed PR reports with analysis and key metrics.

Content Creation

  • Develop creative and engaging content for press materials, newsletters, blog posts, and brochures.

  • Assist in speech writing and key messaging for hotel executives when required.

  • Proofread and ensure all public-facing materials are aligned with the hotel’s branding and voice.

Social Media & Online Presence

  • Assist in managing the hotel’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.)

  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to create content calendars and schedule posts.

  • Engage with followers and monitor online feedback or reviews, responding professionally and promptly.

  • Track performance using social media analytics tools and suggest improvements.

Event Coordination & Brand Representation

  • Support the planning and execution of promotional events, charity functions, partnerships, and hotel-hosted initiatives.

  • Represent the hotel in community events, local tourism board meetings, and press briefings as required.

  • Coordinate with Sales & Marketing, F&B, and Operations to align PR efforts with campaigns or product launches.

Crisis Communication Support

  • Assist in managing sensitive media issues or crisis situations with tact and diplomacy.

  • Ensure consistent, timely, and accurate communication during emergencies, incidents, or public feedback events.

Internal Communication

  • Support employee engagement initiatives and create internal newsletters, recognition content, and communication updates.

  • Ensure hotel staff are aware of and aligned with PR campaigns and messaging.
