Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Textile Engineering/ M.Sc/ MBA from a reputed University;
∎ Certified in Supply Chain Management will get preference;
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Yarn Demand analysis;
∎ Communication with Suppliers for on time yarn in-house;
∎ Smooth Yarn distribution follow-up;
∎ Yarn inventory;
∎ Ensure yarn certificate & providing to concern Merchandiser;
∎ Take initiative to utilize slow moving stock yarn;
∎ Count Wise yarn delivery follow up with price adjustment;
∎ Share left over yarn stock with marketing to release order for consuming yarn;
∎ Effective communication Marketing to release order for consuming left-over yarn stock;
∎ Monitoring PR & PO as per instruction from Yarn procurement Team;
∎ Follow-up to maintaining FIFO;
∎ Perform assigned job as & when required by the Management;
∎ YARN SOURCING:
∎ Communicate with spinner for getting best Lead-time.
∎ Collect Sample yarn for testing yarn quality
∎ In-housing yarn as per requirement of knitting demand
∎ Yarn Follow up with spinners with order TOD:
∎ Contact with spinner about improve plan & TOD issue and follow up with spinner to get yarn on time;
∎ Count Wise yarn delivery follow up with price adjustment;
∎ Communicate with Marketing Dept. for yarn consume timeline;
∎ Manage marketing to release order for consuming left-over yarn stock;
∎ YARN UTILIZATION & TROUBLE SHOOTING:
∎ Inform to supplier about yarn quality issue;
∎ Contact with supplier if need return of yarn;
∎ Take approval from spinners to continue production;
∎ Share left over yarn stock with Marketing Team to release order;
∎ Inform Merchandising Dept. about slow moving stock yarn so that they can manage order to consume yarn;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Females are highly encouraged to apply;
∎ Proven experience in Yarn planning or procurement is a must;
∎ Relevant experience in Spinning factory or Yarn procurement will be an added advantage;
∎ Pro-active, self-motivated, enthusiastic and career oriented;
∎ Good knowledge on competitive yarn market;
∎ Have a strong & fostering collaboration with internal customers & suppliers;
∎ Excellent communication and strong presentation skills both in English & Bengali
∎ Well conversant in MS-Office specially in ERP system
∎ Willing to stay beside factory
Salary: Negotiable
