- At least 3 years in hand experience required in Tax
Responsibilities & Context:
Tax Planning, tax compliance, annual tax return preparations for company and Individual.
Attending hearing with the DCT, Appellate & Appellate Tribunal and ADR for finalization of assessment.
Completing company assessment with all supporting documents.
Liaison with NBR, Tax circle office, others government and non-government Offices.
Assist in preparing companies annual Audited financial statement as per Tax and VAT compliance with accounting standards.
Identifying and mitigating tax risks as well as review the Audited Financial Statements in the light of Income Tax Act, 2023 with a view to reduce the disallowances.
Monitoring monthly TDS and VDS deduction from the applicable heads of accounts and deposit to the Govt. exchequer.
Prepare tax computations and ensure compliance with withholding tax (WHT), advance tax, income tax, and VAT filing as per Bangladesh tax laws.
Reviewing all financial records, systems and control process of the company as per accounting standards and prevailing taxes laws.
Assisting with Tax Audits conducted by NBR and other Government Authorities
To assist in special projects and initiatives as assigned by top management.
