∎ 4 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To find out principal freight forwarders across the world & liaison with them in order to handle shipment/Import & Export activities smoothly.
∎ To find out local customers & communicate with them to make their shipments efficiently.
∎ To collect competitive air/sea freight prices from the principal freight forwarders & compare them to take competitive advantages.
∎ To communicate & liaison among exporters, principal freight forwarders & importers to make shipment fruitful.
∎ To handle customs and port documentation, delivery orders (DO), release of cargo, release notes to customers against payments of dues and proper endorsed documents.
∎ To follow up documentation requirements with local customers as well as overseas principals.
∎ To scrutinize shipping documents upon receipt and update any discrepancies and coordinate with them for corrective measures as applicable.
∎ To follow up with Principal/Vessel agent for Vessel status/delivery order readiness.
∎ To arrange timely collection of D/O from Shipping Lines/ Airlines/agents as applicable.
∎ To visit market/customs office/BAFFA office if necessary.
∎ Any relevant jobs assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 4/5 years experienced candidates having knowledge in the export & import operation may get preferences.
∎ Positive attitude.
∎ Good communication skills both in English & Bangla.
∎ Computer literacy.
∎ Dynamic, hardworking & self-motivated with sound physical & mental health.
∎ Innovative, good planning and execution capability is preferred.
