The primary responsibilities include:
Providing comprehensive patient care services in the respective specialty.
Conducting ward rounds, outpatient clinics, emergency consultations, and clinical procedures.
Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students through lectures, tutorials, bedside teaching, and clinical demonstrations.
Preparing, conducting, and evaluating professional examinations, assessments, and viva voce examinations.
Supervising interns, residents, and trainee doctors in clinical practice and academic activities.
Participating in curriculum development, academic planning, and departmental meetings.
Conducting and supervising research activities, publications, and scholarly work.
Maintaining accurate clinical and academic records and ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
Providing academic leadership and mentoring faculty members and students.
Participating in community health programs, continuing medical education (CME), seminars, workshops, and conferences.
Performing other academic, administrative, and clinical duties assigned by the institution from time to time.
