Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and driven Assistant/Deputy Manager – Plant Operation to take ownership of end-to-end operations at our highly automated agrochemical formulation and repacking plant.
This permanent role offers a strong platform to lead production, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance with quality, EHS, and ISO standards.
The selected candidate will be instrumental in achieving operational excellence by collaborating with cross-functional teams and promoting continuous improvement within a rapidly growing manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and supervise daily plant operations, including formulation, blending, filling, labeling, and repacking of agrochemical products.
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to achieve production targets.
Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput in automated processes.
Monitor production KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Coordinate maintenance schedules with the Engineering & Maintenance Team to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.
Collaborate with the cross-functional team (i.e. procurement, warehouse & logistics teams) to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials.
Ensure strict adherence to product quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain process and documentation related to ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System).
Lead internal audits, documentation, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Coordinate with QA/QC teams for batch approvals and product release.
Prepare duty rosters and manage shift operations where applicable.
Maintain & verify & submit accurate records and reports of plant performance, production, inventory, and compliance to the Management.
Ensure proper documentation for audits (ISO & others) and regulatory inspections.
