Education:

• HSC/ SSC

• Diploma in Textile Engineering or Strong practical experience will be preferable

• Minimum 3 to 5 Years of experience in the similar field

• Prepare print pastes and color recipes using Acramin pigment colors & acid dye-based print pastes, as suited to the fabric type.

• Match shades against approved swatches, lab dips, or design references, and develop recipes for new shades.

• Maintain color consistency across batches & lots for both screen and block print.

• Prepare colors according to the design requirements, fabric, and print method (screen or block).

• Manage fixation process after printing (curing for pigment prints; steaming and washing-off for acid dye prints) and check for color fastness & bleeding.

• Maintain a color recipe book or digital record of all shades & recipes details.

• Keep accurate records of chemical and color consumption and inform the store or inventory team of shortfalls or reorder needs.

• Minimize wastage of colors and chemicals through proper mixing, storage, and reuse of leftover paste.

• Coordinate with screen makers, block makers, printers, and dyeing and finishing teams to resolve color and print quality issues.

• Follow safety, health, and environmental procedures, including correct handling, labeling, storage, and disposal of chemicals.

• Keep the color mixing area, equipment, and work area clean and organized.

• Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
