Additional Requirements:
∎ Good knowledge and understanding of Do No Harm principles and other humanitarian standards, including INEE minimum standards.
∎ Having 5 to 7 years of experience (at least 3 years in a managerial role) in education and Child protection sector having knowledge and understanding of key EiE, CPiE issues, and livelihood.
∎ Well planned, organized and comfortable to lead on project implementation and demonstrates initiative in problem-solving and decision making.
∎ Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with internal and external stakeholders as a representative of Plan.
∎ This includes effective negotiation and representation skills.
∎ Strong leadership skills, able to support and train staff and to work with disaster affected communities in a sensitive and participatory manner.
∎ Experience of designing and delivering training and other capacity building initiatives with a variety of audiences.
∎ A positive and friendly personality who collaborates well with others, works with trustworthiness and integrity and has a clear commitment to Plan's core values and humanitarian principles.
∎ Strong project management, budget management and analysis skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and power-point.
∎ Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to gender and diversity.
∎ Has experience and the ability to live and work in diverse cultural contexts in a culturally appropriate manner.
∎ Has a capacity to make accurate self-assessment particularly in high stress and high security contexts.
∎ An understanding of child safeguarding and equality for girls. Fluency in English and Bangla (both reading and writing).
∎ Previous experience of implementing program through partner NGO.
∎ Ability to prepare and review reports.
∎ Prior experience of working in greater Chottogram Division.
∎ Knowledge of Chittagonian or Rohingya dialect.
∎ Experience in humanitarian settings, particularly with refugees or IDPs.
∎ Experience of conducting education and CP needs assessments.
∎ Knowledge of Plan policies and procedures, Sphere and the Red Cross/NGO Code of Conduct.
∎ Experience in managing humanitarian projects in EiE

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The role:
∎ The Assistant Project Manager-ECW MYRP will be responsible for the overall management of the partner under ECW top up funding (plan part partner NGO) in compliance with Plan International finance and accounting policies. S/he will be overall responsible for the delivery of the commitments and reporting and managing local implementing partner organization for the top up funding under Plan International. Supports partner NGO and take initiatives to build their capacity for effective implementation of project activities. He will closely work and maintain effective coordination with ECW Consortium Manager, EiE technical lead, EiE Technical Advisor, Technical Specialists, M&E Specialist, admin, finance, HR of Plan International Bangladesh, respective staff of Plan National Office (if needed) in delivering ECW supported partner implementation under the top up funding maintaining standards. He/she will also ensure partner organization’s implementation meets the global/organizational standards of emergency responses and donors’ compliance aspects; ensure project monitoring mechanism is established and functional to ensure quality implementation and downwards accountability.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Salary Package for this role is BDT. 134,754.00 to BD. 151,598.00 fixed monthly Gross along with other benefits i.e., hospitalization benefit for spouse and children, contributory provident fund, Festival Bonus, leave, group insurance and yearly medical check-up for employee.
