Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Coordinate and guide the teachers of his/her department as well as junior teachers for their classes and to get used to the system of the institute.
∎ Conduct the class load distribution as per the institute policy. Supervise the teachers in preparing Syllabus, Lesson Plan and the Exam Routine.
∎ Check the Lesson Plan if it is done according to the Syllabus and present the same to the section in-charge for approval.
∎ Make sure that teachers take classes properly, regularly, and timely.
∎ Maintain all Registers (Attendance Register, Record Register, Lesson Plan Register, Notice Register, etc.)
∎ Counsel to the Guardians/ Parents as and when required. Assist to organize different Annual Program (Science Fair, Cultural Program, Debates etc.)
∎ Take initiative whenever it is necessary in order to uphold the image of the Institution.
∎ Assist in any sort of disciplined activities by any of the subordinates or students.
∎ Supervise the Teacher - Parents meeting and Result Day.
∎ Completion of work syllabuses, etc. on a monthly basis. Prepare exam question, conduct exam and scrutinize manuscript.
∎ Monitor the performance and contribution of concerned departmental teacher in class / work such as discipline during class hours, communication in English, absence in college, Syllabus completion, Lesson plan preparation, Class Tests, etc.
∎ Continuously engaged in academic developments, so that both the teachers and students get the best advantage from the institution.
∎ Assist to ensure 100% clinical practice through extensive networking and communication.
∎ Any other duty assigned time to time by the Management.
∎ Saic Nursing College (SNC) is looking for Assistant Professor/Sr. Lecturer as a basic, post basic and master of nursing faculty. The Assistant Professor/Sr. Lecturer main focus should be to develop and maintain effective educational program within his/her Department and to promote the improvement of teaching and learning.
