- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nutrition and Food Science will get an extra advantage

Additional Requirements: Previous working experience in CMAM & IMCN
Minimum 2 years’ experience in CMAM & IMCN Project
Will give priority to knowing the local language.
Ability to work flexibly including weekends and willingness to travel and work in rural locations and live in basic conditions.
Proven experience as a team player·
Competency in Microsoft Excel, word, PowerPoint, and basic communication apps like WhatsApp or Messenger.

Responsibilities & Context: Job Context:
S/he is responsible to ensure the implementation of IMCN project activities by proper coordination with frontline worker and nutritionist. Liaise with MoHFW staffs and local stakeholders and community leaders. Provide supportive supervision to the community nutrition volunteer for smoothly run TSFP and outreach activities.
Job Location: Office based on Moheshkhali & Pekua with occasional field visits as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of CMAM guidelines and protocol as per national guidelines of NNS.·
- Ensure the services of the IMCN project atthe community level following the recommended guidelines.·
- Ensure the monitoring of routine outreach activities.·
- Ensure the defined numbers of SBCCC activities at the facilities and community level.·
- Actively participate and facilitate community sensitization and mobilization activities.·
- Support UNS in collaboration with facility staff to ensure all necessary supplies (food and non-food) are requested on time.·
- Ensure the supply items especially all reporting items like screening, refer slip, MUAC tape. Visit format, IEC material, BNF card, and register.
- Team building and establishing positive motivation among volunteers.
- Report collection and compilation from volunteers.
- Provide supportive supervision and monitor CC staff’s attendance and leave issues.
Program Activities:
- Provide assistance during project implementation at the community level.
- Providing supportive supervision to the CNV’s for community screening, identification, refer, admission, and discharge is maintained as per guideline
- Closely work with CNVs to ensure proper referral mechanism of MAM, SAM children ,and malnourished PLW to respective centers (CC/UHFWC/UHSC) from the community.
- Responsible for cross-checking of all the information about the number and the description of acutely malnourished children referred to the respective nutrition centers (CC/UHFWC/UHSC) to make sure of their arrival and admission the appropriate nutrition center.
- Supportive supervision to CNVs to ensure follow-up and home visits for the absent, default CNR, death wt. loss, static weight, MUAC loss & static issues for the malnourished cases to detect the actual reasons
- Routinely monitor CNVs to ensure GMP activities at the household level and a GMP follow up visit and relevant activities by cluster visit.
- To ensure SBCC related all program activity (IYCF message & counseling, courtyard session, IFA messaging, Cluster based complementary cooking demonstration, Health education session, Mother to mother session) to the target groups at field & facility level
- Ensure necessary arrangements at CC and field for smooth outreach activity.
Logistic & Supply Issue:
- To ensure the monthly food requisition for the center level as per the distribution plan
- To ensure the food arrangement at the CC/UHFWC/UHSC level.
- To maintain the all-food waybill & stock register.
- To maintain all NFIs & assets at the filed level
- To ensure the supply items specially all reporting items like screening, refer slip, MUAC tape, home visit format, IEC material, BNF card, register
Monitoring:
- To ensure the monitoring of the filed activities of their respective CNVs
- To check & ensure the attendance register & leave issues of their subordinates.
- To arrange & monitoring all filed level events, SBCC activities
- To ensure field level monitoring according to slab & reporting their visit also
- To ensure using monitoring tools at field level to maintain harmonization
- To ensure maintain & update all assets, non-assets, stock register
- Look after and keep organization asset organized and safe at field level
Coordination and collaboration
- Coordinate and collaborate with relevant NGO & GO staffs at field level for smooth TSFP activities
- Maintain good coordination with field level community leaders like chairman, member Imams, household head, CG & CSG leader as well as CC land donor etc.
- Provide support to the union parishad meeting, MTMSG meeting, male forum meeting, stakeholder meeting & joint monitoring visit & monthly volunteer meeting.
Reporting
- Ensure the collection & compile of all the field report from center level on time.
- Submit monthly report to the Union Nutrition Supervisor (UNS) on time.
- Support CNV’s to do monthly work plan and check out as per instruction.
- Assist UNS to submit SFR report within the 3rd week of each of the month.
- Submit kobo report (center & outreach monitoring, materials & Home visit) to the respective channel for each of the visit
Other Responsibilities
- Ensure proper utilization of resources.
- To arrange on Job training (OJT) according to the need base
- Coordinate with TCN to ensure comprehensive community outreach and mobilization, health education and treatment are undertaken per the guidelines.
- Document and file all relevant information of the targeted group according to Donor’s requirement
- Proper planning to maximum coverage, screening, follow-up, household visit & supervision.
- To carry out any assigned duty by his/her line manager.
Special Note:
- The Union Nutrition Supervisor may be assigned additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Nutrition Coordinator of GK.
- The job description is subject to modification in consultation with the incumbent, based on organizational needs.
