Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree, preferably in Management Information Systems, Statistics or any other relevant discipline of Social Science.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Assistant- MIS acts as the focal person to deliver information management systems and services along with operations of other ICT applications for monitoring, evaluation and research, and data management for Safety Net System for the Poorest (SNSP) project under SCI's Rohingya Response Food Security & Livelihood sector.
∎ S/he is primarily responsible to manage and coordinate the collection of data based on various MIS and project related templates while ensuring effective operations following aligned ICT strategies and principles.
∎ The Assistant - MIS works closely with staff, Centre In Charge, Trainer and Community Mobilizers ensuring regular capacity building in data collection tools and common data protection practices.
∎ The incumbent works closely with Manager, Coordinator, and Officers while collaborating with the MEAL team.
∎ The Assistant - MIS is required to attend internal and external meetings and workshops related to project related data management and data protection systems.
∎ The Assistant - MIS may also provide support to the implementation and data capture of evaluative assessments in the field.
∎ This position is also accountable for producing any daily, weekly, and regular reports for both external and internal organizational needs.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 02 years of information systems management experience, preferably in humanitarian response and/or emergency contexts
∎ Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team, under pressure and in a sensitive environment including under stress
∎ Knowledge of information management, database management, data operations, data analysis, and report generation
∎ Excellent analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative data analysis
∎ Advanced IT skills with strong command on MS Office, particularly in Excel, SPSS/STATA and PowerBi
∎ Enthusiasm, motivation, self-confidence, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
∎ Fluency in written and spoken Bangla, and ability to converse in the Chittagonian dialect
