Responsibilities & Context:
Responsible for:
Procurement of Goods and services by following proper rules and procedures.
Keeping record of necessary procurement documents for audit and organizational needs.
Submission of bill to finance for making vendors payment after thoroughly checking all documents.
Activities:
Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies.
Discover profitable and reliable vendors and suppliers.
Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and external vendors to land more profitable deals.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Finalize procurement details of orders and deliveries.
Manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and specifications.
Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for organizational benefit.
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of procurement legislation and best practice and develop new and innovative approaches.

Skill and Competencies:
Educational Qualification:
MBA/Commerce background with 05 years of working experience in procurement & Supply.
Training in Competitive Procurement from reputed organization
Postgraduate diploma in Supply Chain Management will get preferred extra qualifications.
Technical Competencies
Computer skilled in MS Office (MS word, MS Excel, MS Access and Power Point)
Knowledge of procurement procedures and rules.
Behavioral Competencies

Prioritize & delivers tasks based on urgency.
Highly responsive in teamwork.
Additional Job Requirements
Experience in practical field of procurement in NGO and company.
