Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom) in Finance Accounting
∎ Having Professional background (CA CC and at least 1st level qualified) will be an added advantage
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Act as the NAV (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) administrator of the company Finance & Accounts team.
∎ Implement Fixed Asset Management System in NAV with tagging, department, location and employee mapping.
∎ Implement Inventory Management system in NAV for Raw Material and Finished Goods including Finished goods conversion.
∎ Implementation of cost allocation/resource allocation process using NAV for Departments, Projects etc.
∎ Administering Payroll system in NAV and adding enhancement features in payroll. Integration of Other HR related processes in payroll in collaboration with implementation partner.
∎ Development of management and statutory reports using JetReports in connection to NAV database.
∎ Direct, coordinate and participate in all aspects of accounting and financial activities in the NAV.
∎ Manage the preparation of all financial reports, periodic MISs from NAV.
∎ Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts.
∎ Prepare bank reconciliation statement at the end of every month.
∎ Prepare monthly withholding tax/VAT return.
∎ Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions.
∎ Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirement.
∎ Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
∎ Widely responsible for managing and troubleshooting the NAV system.
∎ Other tasks as and when assigned by the manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years' experience in a mid-level finance or accounting position
∎ Experience of Microsoft Dynamics NAV administration, implementation
∎ Strong knowledge of report writing and analytical tools (MS Excel and Jet Reports)
∎ Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including International Accounting Standards / Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
∎ Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
∎ Knowledge of Tax, VAT and other financial and regulatory regulations
∎ Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
∎ Ability to prioritize workload based on necessity and workloads
∎ Working knowledge of short- and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
