  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in Commercial, Supply Chain, Import-Export, or Coal Trading business.

  • Practical experience in LC operation, banking communication, customs duty, and import procedures is preferred.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities:

•Maintain regular communication with banks, suppliers, shipping agents, and related stakeholders.

•Handle all types of import/export documentation and commercial activities.

•Process and monitor Letter of Credit (LC) opening, amendment, settlement, and retirement.

•Prepare and verify bank drafts, payment documents, and commercial invoices.

•Coordinate with banks regarding LC documentation, PAD, LIM, and other banking procedures.

•Ensure timely customs clearance, duty payment, and port-related formalities.

•Manage supplier correspondence regarding shipment schedules, documentation, and payments.

•Monitor shipment status, vessel schedules, and logistics coordination for imported coal consignments.

•Coordinate with C&F agents, transport providers, and warehouse teams for smooth supply chain operations.

•Maintain proper records of import costs, duty, freight, insurance, and other commercial expenses.

•Prepare reports related to import, inventory, supply chain, and commercial operations for management review.

•Support procurement and sourcing activities for coal and related materials.

•Ensure compliance with company policies, banking regulations, customs laws, and government requirements.

•Handle inventory planning and supply coordination to ensure uninterrupted coal supply.

•Negotiate with suppliers and service providers for cost-effective commercial operations.

•Resolve operational and documentation issues related to shipment and banking activities.

•Perform any other task assigned by management from time to time.
