Job Context
The Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Network Administration is responsible for managing, stabilizing and continuously improving Tekvision’s enterprise network infrastructure across offices, factories and client environments.
This role ensures reliable connectivity, network security and performance across geographically distributed locations, supporting both manufacturing operations and IT service delivery. The position plays a key role in network standardization, ISP coordination and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Network Operations & Administration
Administer and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, internet connectivity, firewall, VPN and routing environments across KEPZ, CEPZ, DEPZ and HQ.
Ensure high network availability, performance monitoring and timely issue resolution.
Support implementation of network designs, upgrades and expansions as per approved standards.
2. Network Security & Stability
Implement and maintain network security controls including firewall rules, VPN access, segmentation and monitoring.
Assist in enforcing security policies in coordination with Governance & Cybersecurity teams.
Proactively identify network risks, vulnerabilities and recurring issues and support mitigation actions.
3. ISP, Vendor & SLA Management
Coordinate with ISPs, network vendors and service providers to ensure SLA compliance and service continuity.
Support bandwidth planning, redundancy setup and escalation management during outages.
4. Standardization, Documentation & Monitoring
Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, SOPs and asset documentation.
Support network monitoring dashboards, alerts and reporting mechanisms.
Contribute to standardization initiatives across sites and environments.
5. Collaboration & Support
Work closely with System Administration, Service Desk and Application teams to support business services.
Provide Level 2 / Level 3 network support and guidance to junior engineers.
Support audits, compliance reviews and infrastructure assessments when required.
