Responsibilities & Context:

1. Supervise and monitor overall microfinance operations, including loan disbursement, collection, savings management, and member services.

2. Ensure compliance with Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) policies, organizational guidelines, and applicable laws of Bangladesh.

3. Monitor loan portfolio quality, overdue management, recovery performance, and portfolio-at-risk (PAR) indicators.

4. Prepare and submit MRA reports, management reports, and other regulatory reports accurately and on time.

5. Review branch financial and operational performance and provide necessary guidance to improve efficiency and productivity.

6. Ensure accurate accounting and reporting through Micro-Fin 360 and Tally software.

7. Monitor cash, bank transactions, fund management, and branch-level financial activities.

8. Conduct regular branch visits to verify loan records, savings balances, client files, fixed assets, and compliance requirements.

9. Assist in budget preparation, financial planning, and performance analysis of microfinance programs.

10. Coordinate with auditors, banks, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders regarding microfinance operations.

11. Support staff development through training, supervision, and performance monitoring.

12. Ensure proper documentation, record keeping, and safeguarding of all financial and client-related information.
