  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial acumen.

  • Experience managing budgets and P&L for sales/marketing functions.



Responsibilities & Context:

Assistant General Manager (Sales & Marketing) for a cleaning machine distributor company drives overall growth by setting sales strategies, managing teams, identifying new markets (industrial, commercial), overseeing product launches, controlling budgets, and ensuring customer satisfaction, bridging high-level operations with direct revenue generation for the specialized cleaning sector. 

Role Summary:

  • This leadership role is responsible for achieving aggressive revenue targets, expanding market share in industrial, commercial, and specialized cleaning sectors, and spearheading strategic growth for our innovative cleaning machine product portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall company vision and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Sales & Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to meet and exceed sales targets for cleaning equipment and solutions.

  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities, key account, and strategic partnerships (e.g., Facility management, healthcare, industrial clients).

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product development and sales approaches.

  • Oversee the entire sales pipeline, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals

Marketing & Brand:

  • Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns (digital, trade shows, content) to build brand awareness and generate qualified leads.

  • Drive product category strategy, including new product introductions (NPIs) and lifecycle management for cleaning machines and related consumables.

  • Manage budgets for sales & marketing activities, ensuring optimal ROI.

Leadership & Operations:

  • Build, mentor, and motivate high-performing sales and marketing teams, setting clear KPIs and providing regular feedback.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Product Development, and Finance to ensure seamless execution and profitability.

  • Oversee operational aspects related to sales delivery, including demonstrations, training, and after-sales support, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs),sales forecasts, and market insights to executive leadership.
