Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Having Graduate /Master`s in Accounting/ Finance or other relevant
Minimum 15 years of experience in Commercial department out of which 4 years in AGM position in reputed export based Large Garments Industry
Should have effective business relationship with Bangladesh Bank, Commerce Ministry, EPB & different government bodies for performing jobs effectively
Should possess very good Knowledge of International and Local laws regarding Import & Export to & from Bangladesh
Excellent English Communication Skills both written & oral form
Sincere, dedicated, self-motivated & result oriented
Excellent computer skills (MS Office, e-mail etc.)

Job Summary:
The Commercial AGM is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization’s commercial strategy, revenue growth, business development, and client relationship management. This role ensures profitability, market expansion, contract management, and alignment of commercial objectives with overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee pricing strategies, budgeting, and cost control
Ensure commercial contracts align with financial objectives
Monitor commercial performance metrics and KPIs
Review and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements

Lead & Monitor commercial teams

Other Responsibilities
The candidate should have expertise and capacity to lead, monitor & guide all the team members of commercial department and ensure that Import, Export, Trade Finance, Banking, Customs, Bond, Licenses, C& F, Cash Incentive, Transportation etc. related Jobs are properly executed
Leading, monitoring & supervising overall activities of the commercial department
Ensure smooth operation of all export-import related jobs by providing necessary guidelines to the team members
Ensure proper & timely LC opening as per the set policy of the company
Ensure Preparation of export documents for Bank, C&F, BGMEA, EPB, BOND, BOI, Customs etc
Regularly monitoring & tracking various stages of all imports.
Responsible for all Customs clearance of imported materials operation with LC process
Regularly monitoring & tracking various stages of Export as well as payment follow-up
Communicate with Buyers to solve issues (if any) and speed up payment process
Manage Trade Finance related jobs in an efficient manner
Oversee Commercial related MIS reports and take actions as per requirement
Follow up and maintain commercial reports related to Import and Export activities and submit those to management as per requirement
Provide Vehicle program to C&F agent properly and timely as per import consignment and export schedule by maintaining proper documentation
Maintain effective Liaison with Banks, Shipping Line, Forwarding Agents, BGMEA, BKMEA and other organizations in relation to export and import documentation
Any other kind of task that management may require to be done
