Educational Requirements:
∎ Qualified Chartered Accountant FCA/ CMA, / ACCA/ MBA major in Finance/ M. Com from a recognized university.
Experience Requirements:

Job Context:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strong understanding on financial management of an NGO.
∎ Well habituated in preparing financial report with PKSF Funded microfinance and other program.
∎ Good understanding of double and single entry system of accounting management.
∎ Clear understanding of A to Z steps of procurement process.
∎ Clear understanding of PPA-2006 and PPR-2008.
∎ Sound knowledge in Budget preparation, financial forecasting and expenditure plan.
∎ Adequate knowledge in portfolio management.
∎ Must have excellent communication skill, especially in case of arranging financial support from financing agencies.
∎ Proper knowledge about time value of money and necessary knowledge to ensafe the value of money in the Organization level.
∎ Maintain all ledgers and cash books in both soft and hard copy.
∎ Well-practiced in using different types of accounting software.
∎ Ensure transparent financial transactions at Head Office and Branch/Project level.
∎ Introduce the tools of internal auditing system.
∎ Ensure internal audit at certain intervals and report to the Executive Director.
∎ Prepare salary statement both HO and Project level.
∎ Appointment of reputed Audit Firms for external audit both organization and project level.
∎ Prepare high quality financial reports both organization and donor's level.
∎ Present organizational financial status to the authority.
∎ Ensure financial training to the staffs both Branch and Project level.
∎ Prepare and revise the formats of financial reports.
∎ Good understanding on VAT/TAX calculation on salary and procured goods.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Ability to contribute to local Senior Management's strategy and plans; minimum 10 years of experience in finance with at least 3 years' experience of leading a finance function and of managing a team at the Organizational level; considerable experience in financial management (accounting, book-keeping, budgeting), partner finance monitoring and partner verification; experience in conducting partner audits and supporting donor audits; experience working in the finance team of NGO's, PKSF (Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation) and MRA (Microcredit Regulatory Authority)
∎ Strong English oral and written communication skills
∎ Motorcycle driving with valid license.
