Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Second Class in Honor's and Master's in the relevant field from any reputed university or equivalent CGPA.
∎ At least 05 (five) years experience in the relative field.
Job Context:
∎ EXIM Bank Agricultural University Bangladesh is the first agricultural university in private sector. It is purely a research based university. The university is located in the down town of Chapainawabganj. This University offers education at an affordable and lower cost. In spite of the tuition fee waivers, scholarships are available in different categories especially on the basis of merit. This university has a congenial atmosphere to pursue graduate courses in any faculty under the fostering care of the learned faculty members. Currently we are looking for suitable candidate for the following position.
∎ Location: EBAUB, Chapainawabganj.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise & Maintain Daily Transactions, Payment & Collection.
∎ Maintain Receipts & Payment Vouchers, Journal Voucher, Cash Book, General Ledger, Bank Book, Bill Register, Debtors & Creditors Ledger, Party Payment Registers, and Employees Register.
∎ Preparation of Financial Statements (Annual & Half Yearly Reports, Quarterly & Monthly accounts) and submit to the management showing overall operating progress and financial position of the University. Initiating necessary action for statutory audit and presents the statutory audit and audited accounts before the management.
∎ Producing various types of papers / statements relating to management information and submitting the same for their decision-making purpose as and when necessary.
∎ Acting as a key person of the procurement committee.
∎ Updating University Accounting Software and preparation of different reports as required by the Management and any other related jobs as assigned by the Treasurer as well as Management.
∎ Monitor the Tax & VAT related matters and maintain liaison with Tax & VAT authorities for settlement of related issues and also ensure compliance with laws. Act as an adviser to management in taking decision on Bank, Tax, Regulatory matters.
∎ Maintain external relationships with Govt. & Other Regulatory Bodies including Ministry of Education, UGC, NBR, FRC, ICAB, Bank & Other Financial Institutes, External & Internal Auditors.
∎ Perform the duties & responsibilities to a high professional and ethical standard and perform any other tasks assigned by the management.
∎ Must be depth knowledge on Private University Act 2010.
Salary:
∎ As per EBAUB pay scale.
