Job Context:
∎ JAAGO Foundation Trust is seeking a highly qualified Area Manager for the BIJOYEE project in partnership with CARE supported by USAID. The Area Manager will work closely under the supervision of the Manager-Skills and Employment, BIJOYEE project, JAAGO Foundation Trust to implement the project activities as per the Details Implementation Plan (DIP) following the compliances of USAID and CARE. S/he will also coordinate with project personnel to implement project activities at the field level with frequently moving to the field as required.S/he will also report the monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly project progress to the Manager-Skills and Employment, BIJOYEE project, JAAGO Foundation Trust in coordination with advocacy and campaign manager and relevant project team. S/he will represent the JAAGO Foundation Trust during high official field visits, project coordination meetings and workshops, etc.S/he will be responsible for all aspects of project implementation as per the Details Implementation Plan (DIP) including program quality, evidence generation, and management of direct reports, and will also promote learning and innovation by adapting tools and systems, promoting data-driven, evidence-based actions, and building capacity to work in new ways.

∎ The position will be based in any one of the project locations in Dhaka South, Chittagong, Cox`s Bazar, Narayanganj, Munshiganj, Khagrachari, and Bandarban. The position will require moving to project field locations as per requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Execute responsibility for oversight of program activities, management, and capacity-building of key staff, while monitoring technical soundness and reporting.
∎ S/he will be responsible for coordinating with the Hub-field office of the JAAGO Foundation Trust under the BIJOYEE project to implement the project activities timely.
∎ S/he will supervise guide, and support the team members of learners mobilizers, and trainers in implementing the project activities.
∎ Fosters relationships with stakeholders.
∎ Support the Hub-coordinator, BIJOYEE project in ensuring the achievement of strategic program objectives and intermediate results in collaboration with technical and project staff and consortium partners.
∎ Support the M & E and project team to implement the M & E plan based on DIP in consultation with the line supervisor Hub-coordinator, Manager- M & E.
∎ Participate at different levels of project management coordination meetings regularly as per instruction of line supervisor, and attend the different level meetings as required.
∎ S/he will represent the JAAGO Foundation Trust at different levels including NGO and GoB in coordination with higher management of the JAAGO Foundation.
∎ Under the supervision and guidance of the Hub - Coordinator, s/he will support the technical project personnel and team members (YLO Development Officer, Advocacy and Campaign Manager, Grassroot YLO Development Manager, Civic Engagement Specialist, Innovation Grant Officer to execute the project activities in the field following the compliance of USAID and CARE to implement the project as per Details Implementation Plan (DIP).
∎ She will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the field team to conduct the baseline, end-line survey, mid-term evaluation, and final evaluation of the BIJOYEE project,
∎ Supervise and manage a pool of field staff to ensure that the TA provided is of quality and provided in due time during the planning, implementation and monitoring phases.
∎ Ensure that guidance and learning for Youth, and Girl's empowerment programs related to YDP's approach are applied for the implementation at the field level.
∎ Ensure that the project leverages all opportunities to contribute to BIJOYEE's broader program goals
∎ Create an enabling working environment that encourages open and honest communication, between all levels of personnel, based on mutual respect within the spirit of JAAGO's core values.
∎ Ensure that the project deliveries are achieved on time
∎ Ensure positive youth development approaches are embedded in all activities
∎ Assist the Hub-Coordinator, Manager-M & E in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting functions as required.
∎ Contribute and ensure the donor reporting monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly and yearly as required.
