Job Context:
∎ Teaching Arabic language and culture to students of various ages and levels of proficiency.
∎ Developing and implementing lesson plans, creating materials, and assessing student progress.
∎ Using technology, multimedia resources, and other teaching aids to enhance learning and engagement.
∎ Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
∎ Staying up to date with current teaching methods, materials, and educational technologies.
∎ Meeting educational standards and requirements for the teaching of Arabic.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and prepare lessons that align with the curriculum and learning objectives.
∎ Teach Arabic language and culture, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
∎ Evaluate student performance through assessments and tests, and provide feedback and support to help students improve.
∎ Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and asking questions.
∎ Create engaging, interactive lessons that keep students motivated and interested in learning.
∎ Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure that students receive a well-rounded education.
∎ Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
∎ Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with teaching methods and best practices.
∎ Incorporate technology and multimedia tools into lessons, where appropriate.
∎ Manage classroom discipline and behavior, and provide support to students who are struggling.
∎ Encourage student participation and critical thinking through class discussions and interactive activities.
∎ Plan and participate in extracurricular activities and cultural events that promote the study of the Arabic language and culture.
