∎ Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Supply Chain Management
∎ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management preferred from Bangladesh Maritime University

∎ Must have strong skills in both written and verbal communication in English
∎ Minimum 3 years of Experience in Import Operations
∎ Advance Knowledge in MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Check and negotiate rates with agents as per customer and sales requirements.
∎ Prepare and submit quotations based on customer RFQs.
∎ Maintain communication with customers for shipment inquiries and forecasts.
∎ Handle DAP, DDP, DDU, land, air, and ocean shipments.
∎ Build relationships with agents and ensure smooth shipment handling.
∎ Monitor and update shipment status for customers at every step.
∎ Develop relationship with Agent for their nominated shipment.
∎ Ensure timely updates in the shipment database (SOL) on time.
∎ Coordinate with teams for documentation, credit approvals, and issue resolution.
∎ On-board new clients & New Agents for free hand prepaid/collect cargo and achieve minimum GP & volume target.
∎ Follow up with Airport/Chittagong colleague to collect docs & release D/O.
∎ Follow up with agent to collect pre-alert, Debit note in time.
