Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor Degree in Agriculture.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning, implementation and monitoring of activities under Agriculture and Environment unit as well as related bi-lateral projects;
∎ Assess the activities related to crop production, management and marketing;
∎ Facilitate and foster partnership with Federations/Groups/ Farmers Forum/FFS, monitoring the training and demonstrations;
∎ Regular Communication with farmers, agri-entrepreneur, local level GO, NGO and private sector;
∎ Develop business plan, facilitating Krishi Kendra (Farmer Center) committee for its operation;
∎ Organize and coordinate different issue based workshop, seminar for increasing influence on and access to right of poor people for sustainable livelihood;
∎ Support to others Agricultural project implementation in the working areas;
∎ Any other duties to be assigned by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 02 (two) years' experience to work in agriculture development project.
∎ Must have sound knowledge in farmers group mobilization, crop production plan development; training organization and facilitation, Agri-entrepreneur development;
∎ Must have ability to build linkage with local buyer & traders for market channel establishment, skill in generating reports;
∎ Must have computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Power Point etc);
∎ Must have good interpersonal and communication skill.
∎ Must have valid motorcycle driving license.

Salary: Tk. 29906 (Monthly)

The vast majority of staff are in field positions, with specialist sectoral and support units in Rangpur and Dhaka.
