• Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting

• ICAB/ICMAB Part Qualified will be highly preferable

• A minimum of 07 years of experience in costing analysis within the textile industry.

• Proven experience in managing MIS reporting systems with strong analytical capabilities.

• In-depth knowledge of textile manufacturing processes and cost structures is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of MIS systems and their applications in financial reporting and decision-making.

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

• Excellent Computer Literacy

• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions & experience with ERP systems is a must

• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and present findings clearly to stakeholders.

• Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing costing operations while ensuring accurate and efficient MIS reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the costing department, ensuring accurate cost calculations for products and overseeing all related financial processes.

• Develop and maintain robust MIS systems to analyze operational performance, track key metrics, and inform strategic decisions.

• Create and maintain comprehensive databases for MIS reporting, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

• To ensure timely submission of MIS to the management.

• Develop and implement effective costing strategies to optimize profitability across all product lines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for cost analysis and ensure alignment with financial goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, marketing and finance to optimize resource allocation.

• Prepare detailed reports on cost variances, profitability analysis, and budget forecasting for management review

• Analyze cost variances, identify trends, prepare detailed reports on costing analyses and provide actionable insights to senior management for decision-making.

• Implement best practices in costing methodology to improve accuracy and efficiency across all departments.

• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing strategies and economic factors to adjust pricing models accordingly to ensure our offerings remain competitive.

• Provide training and guidance to team members on costing principles and MIS tools.

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate financial reporting related to stock valuations.

• Lead budgeting processes by compiling data from various departments to create comprehensive forecasts.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs while improving product quality

• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
