Job Context:
∎ The position will be responsible for planning, implementation, managing and running of all accounts and finance activities of the company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations.
∎ He also leads the concerned department in the establishment of risk management procedures as well as the update of those procedures for the sustainable growth of the company.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting.
∎ Monitoring the financial health of the organization by tracking cash flow, budgets, and other financial data.
∎ Reviewing financial statements and reports to ensure that they are accurate and complete.
∎ Preparing budgets and ensuring adherences.
∎ Participating in strategic planning meetings with other members of the executive team to develop long-term goals for the company.
∎ Monitoring compliance with laws and regulations regarding financial reporting and disclosure requirements.
∎ Monitoring and safeguarding of capital expenditure of the company.
∎ Coordinate with external auditors to ensure that audits are performed according to industry standards.
∎ Monitor trends in the industry to identify new opportunities for growth for the company.
∎ Providing strategic recommendations to the Business Head and consequently to the BoD.
∎ Advising on long-term business and financial planning.
∎ Lead, direct, monitor, appraise and train the team members of the concerned department.
∎ Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
∎ Any other relevant tasks assigned by the Senior Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ A minimum of 08 years of experience in handling accounting function for a manufacturing focused enterprise especially in Cement industry.
∎ Candidates must be ACA completed.
∎ The candidate should have the ability to run the financial operations of the company independently.
∎ Good interpersonal, communication skill, teamwork is essential.
∎ Energetic, confident and proactive.
∎ Positive work ethics and a focus on results are required for assigned responsibilities.
∎ Familiarity and experience in implementation of ERP.
∎ Analytical mindset with an attention to detail.
∎ Capable of handling TAX, VAT, Bond, Custom, and Relevant Compliances issues.
