Responsibilities & Context:

Position Summary: Daris is seeking a highly organized, professional, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the organization. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for students, and parents, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Office Administration: Manage daily office operations, including answering phones, screening visitors, handling general correspondence (email and physical mail), maintaining office supplies inventory, photocopying worksheets lesson wise.

  • Record Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and strictly confidential student and staff records (physical and digital). This includes processing forms related to enrolment, attendance, and student transcripts.

  • Communication & Customer Service: Act as a liaison, providing exceptional customer service to students, parents and external stakeholders. Communicate institutional policies and procedures clearly.

  • Financial Support: Process expense reports, purchase requisitions, and invoices. Assist with basic departmental budget monitoring and handling petty cash.

  • Document Preparation: Prepare, proofread, and format various documents, including reports, presentations, academic memos, and correspondence using the Microsoft Office Suite and prepare Power Point Presentation.

  • Data Entry: Accurately enter and retrieve data using the institution’s database and Student Information System (SIS).
