Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintaining financial records: The Accounts Officer is responsible for recording and maintaining all financial transactions, including payments, receipts, invoices, and other financial documents.
∎ Managing accounts payable and receivable: The Accounts Officer ensures that bills are paid on time and that the company's cash flow is managed effectively. They also follow up with clients to collect payments on outstanding invoices.
∎ Preparing financial reports: The Accounts Officer prepares financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to help the management team make informed decisions.
∎ Conducting audits: The Accounts Officer conducts internal audits to ensure that financial records are accurate and comply with legal requirements.

∎ Budgeting and forecasting: The Accounts Officer prepares budgets and financial forecasts to help the organization plan for the future.
∎ Communicating financial information: The Accounts Officer communicates financial information to other departments, managers, and stakeholders within the organization.
∎ Ensuring compliance with financial regulations: The Accounts Officer ensures that the organization complies with financial regulations and guidelines set by government agencies and industry bodies.
∎ Liaising with external stakeholders: The Accounts Officer liaises with external stakeholders, such as banks, auditors, and tax authorities, to ensure that the organization meets its financial obligations.
