In addition to the 11 country offices worldwide we also work with multiple partner offices focusing on sustainable development programmes and providing humanitarian relief during times of crisis.
∎ Muslim Aid runs three Community hospitals in Kulaura Upazila (under Moulvibazar district), Pirojpur district and Pabna district of Bangladesh. Through the community hospitals, it provides essential health services (both primary and secondary) to the low income and disadvantaged population of the country. The health care program of MABFO is consisting of community hospitals, WASH and nutrition. The community hospitals provide preventive, curative and primitive comprehensive services. The services include consultation, pathology, ECG, ultra-sonogram, emergency, surgery etc. Especial emphasis is giving on women and children. Muslim Aid-UK Bangladesh Field Office has taken initiatives to reduce child mortality and improve health.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain financial records.
∎ Prepare program budget guidelines.
∎ Handle accounts payable and receivable.
∎ Resolve accounts to the general ledger.
∎ Contact clients regularly about transactions and invoices.
∎ Track project/program funds for proper reporting.
∎ Ensure timely fund requests.
∎ Allocate and execute budgets and resources as necessary.
∎ Handle queries related to accounts from internal and external sources.
∎ Utilize database software to organize financial account information.
∎ Ensure company financial accounts, such as credit cards, are paid on time.
∎ Perform internal and external audits on financial activities as necessary.
∎ Review both incoming and outgoing invoices.
∎ Generate financial reports for review by donor/regulatory authorities.
∎ Understand and follow the rules and regulations of Income Tax, VAT and the other compliances.
Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of three years of experience in relevant field.
∎ Experience using accounting software, such as Quickbooks and Quicken (optional)
∎ Prior experience working with financial accounts
∎ Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Excel
∎ Strong organizational skills
∎ Self-motivated and detail-oriented
∎ Quick to collaborate and coordinate with team members when necessary
∎ Strong math and critical reasoning skills
∎ Solid analytical skills.
∎ Detail-oriented.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills.
Salary: Tk. 15000 - 20000 (Monthly)
