Job Context:
∎ Amrai Pari Paribarik Nirjaton Prothirodh Jot is looking for a dynamic `Accounts Officer` for its "Creating Spaces to take action on violence against women and girls" project supported by Global Affairs Canada and Oxfam GB. The details eligibility requirement of the position as mentioned below:
∎ Job Location: Dhaka (frequent field visit)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure the smooth operation of planned expenditures based on financial policies and procedures.
∎ Analyze and review budgets and expenditures for funding, contracts, and grants.
∎ Maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures on daily basis.
∎ Calculate and distribute project staff salary, benefit and management cost.
∎ Communicate with different vendor and Maintain procurement process as per financial policy.
∎ Maintain financial data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems.
∎ Prepare financial statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports.
∎ Prepared yearly consolidated financial Statement for the project.
∎ Maintain bank transactions regularly and manage the banking accounts of the project.
∎ Prepare requisition according the demand of organization and submission to Bank for collect the cheque book.
∎ Prepare the bank reconciliation and collect the bank statement in every month.
∎ Deducted the VAT and Taxes for all type of source as per prevailing law of the National Board of Revenue of the Government of Bangladesh and deposit to bank in due time.
∎ Develop yearly, quarterly, monthly consolidated Budget and report for the project.
∎ Support in Auditing and reporting.
∎ Prepare agreement with different vendors and Consultant and ensure the services from vendors/service provider/firm to following all programs.
∎ Collection the quotation, prepare comparative statement and share the work order in due time.
∎ Support the program personnel to develop FD6 and NGO Bureau related work.
∎ Support in DC office related work and any Government office related work.
∎ In addition to perform other job related duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3-5 years experience in accounting of similar nature project in any national or international organisations.
∎ Must have knowledge on Accounting/Finance System.
∎ Knowledge on day to day accounting.
∎ Knowledge on internal auditing.
∎ Able to make efficient plan and optimum utilisation of available resources.
∎ Able to operate accounting related software as well as MS office.
∎ Able to prepare reports.
Salary:
∎ Salary Range: BDT 337441/- yearly (Gross)
