Responsibilities & Context: Job Summary: The Accounts Executive will manage the recruitment agency's day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and analysis. This role involves maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and supporting the team in budgeting, invoicing, and payroll management for both internal staff and temporary recruitment employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records including daily entries, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
- Accounts Receivable & Payable: Manage client invoicing and collections and process payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Payroll Management: Process payroll for internal employees and temporary recruitment staff, ensuring compliance with local tax and labor laws.
- Bank Reconciliations: Ensure all bank transactions are recorded correctly and reconcile bank statements regularly.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in tax filings, ensure timely submission of VAT, GST, or other tax returns, and maintain compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support in preparing the office’s annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing the necessary documentation and explanations.
- Client Account Management: Coordinate with recruitment consultants and clients regarding payment issues or discrepancies, and provide client financial data when required.
- Expense Management: Monitor office expenses and ensure costs are managed efficiently
