Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure proper accounts, cash and bank transactions, receipt and payment statements, TAX and VAT management, etc.
∎ Ensure regularity in bank reconciliation and provide vendor payment on time.
∎ Ensure the logistic support during any workshop, meeting and training
∎ Developing effective procedures for office administration and supervising their implementation.
∎ Organizing and maintaining files, records, and documents.
∎ Ensure all transactions as per the financial policy of MJSKS.
∎ Asset management and maintain different register (stock/leave/MC) etc.
∎ Making plans for the purchase of new equipment, services, and other supplies
∎ Purchase all kind of materials in accordance with approved requisition and ensure best value purchase verifying the market rate and product quality.
∎ Ensure storing/preservation of goods/materials in store as per organizational guidelines.
∎ Supervisor: Finance Coordinator.
∎ Mahideb Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity (MJSKS) is a non-profit making community development organization situated in the northern Bangladesh. The organization is registered with Social Welfare Department and NGO Affairs Bureau of Bangladesh government. Since 1972, the organization has been serving the poor and extreme poor with special focus on the char (River Island) and attached char inhabitants (men, women, youth, children and adolescents) in different areas through several program initiatives. At present, MJSKS has been working in Kurigram, Rangpur and Lalmonirhat district. MJSKS has been implementing various types of projects in the field of livelihood development, human rights, women empowerment, youth employability and engagement, adolescent development, gender equality, quality education for children, water and sanitation, health, hygiene & nutrition, Humanitarian Assistance in disaster and climate change adaptation. Sustainable development for the poorest through ensuring peoples participation is the key approach of its work.
∎ Mahideb Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity (MJSKS) in collaboration with Plan International Bangladesh has been Implementing NRK Telethon-Child, Not Bride (CNB) project that aims to reduce the Early Child and Forced Marriage-CEFM in Bangladesh and the target district is Kurigram in particular. The integrated project will work in the areas of youth governance, sexual reproductive health and rights, girls’ economic empowerment that will ultimately contribute to combating early and forced child marriage. Through this project, the girls and young women along with the boys and young men will be empowered to drive a systemic change for achieving gender equality and promoting an enabling environment for youth, especially for girls and young women to build their future aspirations and make decisions. The project will be implemented up to November 2025.
∎ MJSKS is looking for a qualified Accounts cum Administrative Officer for the said project.
∎ Job Nature: Full-time up to the project period based on performance
∎ Job location: Nageswari upazila under Kurigram District.
∎ Job Responsibilities:

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Monthly salary Tk. 29,700/- Possibility of yearly salary increment 5-10% with yearly 01-month gross salary as festival bonus. Mobile allowance, bonus and other admissible benefits will be provided as per project budget.
