The role:

  • The Account assistant will play a crucial role within the Finance team, ensuring efficient management of accounts and financial transactions. The position supports the treasury team and SPFOs by maintaining accurate records and facilitating communication between suppliers, partners, and the team. By enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring supplier and partner satisfaction, the Account Assistant streamlines processes reduces errors, and improves overall productivity. This support contributes to our growth and maintains high-quality service delivery.

  • The role of an Account Assistant is essential for ensuring the efficiency of the finance unit at OiBD. The Account Assistant is responsible for the following tasks:

  • Day-to-day management of a defined accounting area: This involves being accountable for overseeing and maintaining accurate financial records within a specific accounting domain.

  • Delivery of key support activities within the treasury finance team: The Account Assistant contributes to management and operational services that support other staff members in performing effectively. These activities enhance overall efficiency.

  • Facilitation of day-to-day financial transaction processing related to cash: Managing financial transactions, particularly those involving cash, is a critical aspect of the role.

Job Other Benifits:
    • As per Oxfam National E1 pay band, starting annual salary for this role is BDT 5,69,997.00 (13 months) with other benefits e.g., medical for self, spouse and children, contributory provident fund, gratuity, leave, life insurance, mobile allowance, and other admissible benefits as per the organizational policy. For highly competent & experienced candidates the salary can be negotiable.
