Job Responsibilities
· Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
· Record all receipts, payments, journal entries, and ledger postings.
· Prepare and process vouchers (Payment, Receipt, Journal, and Contra).
· Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow.
· Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
· Prepare payroll and ensure timely salary disbursement.
· Prepare budgets and monitor budget utilization.
· Maintain fixed asset registers and inventory records.
· Calculate depreciation and maintain asset schedules.
· Prepare VAT, Tax, and other statutory documents in compliance with Bangladesh regulations.
· Assist in financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.
· Maintain supporting documents for all financial transactions.
· Monitor office expenses and ensure cost control.
· Prepare financial statements, profit & loss accounts, and balance sheets.
· Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
· Coordinate with banks and financial institutions when required.
· Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
· Support management with financial analysis and decision-making reports.
· Perform any other accounting and finance-related tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, BBA, or a related discipline from a reputed university.
· Professional qualifications (CA-CC, CMA, ACCA – partly qualified) will be considered an advantage.
· 3–4 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, Tax, and financial reporting.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, ERP, or similar).
· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
