Experience:

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): University

• Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
• Master of Commerce (MCom) in Finance

• Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance or MBA with a major in Accounting.

• Professional qualification like CA (CC), CMA, or ACCA (part qualified) will be preferred.

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): University

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, or financial management.

• Experience in educational institutions or NGOs will be an added advantage.

• Sound knowledge of accounting software.

• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and monitor accounting records, journals, and ledgers.

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliation statements.

• Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, university policies, and relevant regulations.

• Monitor and manage budgets, expenditures, and financial planning.

• Identify risks and recommend improvements for financial controls and systems.
