∎ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
∎ Proven experience as an accountant and administrative officer, preferably within the interior design, architecture, or construction industry.
∎ Strong understanding of accounting software, MS Office, particularly Excel, and database software.
∎ Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, and attention to detail.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to handle confidential information.
∎ A proactive approach to problem-solving and strong decision-making skills.

Responsibilities & Context:

∎ Nagorik Architecture & Construction is a dynamic and innovative company specializing in creating beautiful, functional, and sustainable interior spaces. Our projects range from residential to commercial spaces, each designed with passion and precision. We are currently looking for a versatile and skilled Accountant cum Admin to join our growing team.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Financial Management: Handle all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Prepare budget forecasts and monitor financial performance versus the budget.
∎ Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
∎ Administrative Duties: Manage office supplies stock and place orders. Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets. Maintain and update company databases, and organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents.
∎ Payroll & HR Support: Process payroll in a timely manner and support HR functions such as maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g., employment records and onboarding guides), and updating internal databases.
∎ Client and Vendor Management: Act as the point of contact for clients and vendors. Manage and maintain contracts and ensure all projects are billed correctly and in a timely manner.
∎ Project Support: Assist in project management by coordinating with internal teams and external contractors, ensuring timely completion of projects within budget.
