∎ Impeccable time-management skills;
∎ Capability to stay organized and maintain detailed records;
∎ Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies;
∎ Comprehensive knowledge of vat/tax filing procedures;
∎ Proficiency with accounting software;
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
∎ Strong knowledge of Microsoft word and excel, PowerPoint, Internet access, etc.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Recording financial entries, reconciling ledgers and bank statements, and monitoring accounts receivable and payable ;
∎ Preparing monthly and yearly financial reports, managing petty cash, and maintaining a filing system;
∎ Preparing requisitions, budget variance reports, and other documents;
∎ Working with the bank and finance department;
∎ Handling banking transactions, registering and filing documents;
∎ Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements;
∎ Appraise, evaluate and maintain inventory of the real property and equipment, recording; information such as the property’s description, value, and location;
∎ Ensure all accounting documentation is correctly stored and highly visible;
∎ Analyze transaction records to comply with financial policies and procedures;
∎ Receive and verify billing and requisitions on any and all goods and services;
∎ Maintain the authenticity and integrity of accounting affairs;
∎ Process, send, and store all bank deposits and invoices;
∎ Prepare and submit tax documentation to the proper legal institutions;
∎ Identify and address discrepancies in all documentation;
∎ Update all databases and spreadsheets related to accounting;
∎ Responsible for fixed assets management;
∎ Preparing invoices, processing necessary payments and issuing cheques;
∎ Maintaining banking correspondence as per organization policy and the standard rules;
∎ Calculating and distributing wages and salaries;
∎ Preparing yearly budget and making necessary adjustments of accounts;
∎ Preserving all receipts, delivery returns & balances for audit purpose;
∎ Ensuring timely completion of financial and other administrative audits;
∎ Ensure the compliance of administration, finance and policies & procedures;
∎ Ensure the requirement relating to Human Resource management issues ;
∎ Prepare and organize workshops/meetings;
∎ Any other task as and when required by the management.

DAM’s current governing institutions in education, health and economic development sectors in Bangladesh, looking for a competent, self-motivated and high experienced Accounts & Admin Officer for immediate appointment for Ahsania Mission University of Science & Technology (AMUST), Rajshahi and Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University(KKBAU), Khulna.
