Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee and maintain the general accounting functions, including, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations and taxesin an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
∎ Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
∎ Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
∎ Supervise and manage general ledger accounting functions
∎ Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance
∎ Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
∎ Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
∎ Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
∎ Maintains historical records by filing documents.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. ACCA/CA part qualified or MBA preferred.
∎ 5-8 years of accounting/finance experience.
∎ Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Experience with accounting software.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills along with verbal and written communication, to converse effectively across the organization.
∎ Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
∎ Highly detail oriented.
