Responsibilities & Context:
  • Recording Financial Transactions: Maintain accurate and timely records of all financial transactions.

  • Preparing Financial Statements: Generate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to provide a clear picture of the company’s financial health.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards to avoid legal issues.

  • Internal Audits: Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of financial processes and internal controls.

  • Accounts Payable: Process invoices, verify transactions, and manage payments to suppliers and vendors.

  • Accounts Receivable: Invoice customers, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.

  • Payroll Processing: Calculate salaries, wages, deductions, and taxes, and ensure timely payroll processing.

  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

  • Documentation: Maintain and organize financial records for easy access and retrieval.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for management review.

  • Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.

  • Vendor Management: Address vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues promptly.

  • Customer Relations: Handle customer inquiries and resolve billing issues effectively.

  • System Management: Manage financial systems and software applications used for accounting and reporting.
