Responsibilities & Context:
Preparing, explaining, and positioning patients for X-ray exams to capture the necessary body parts.
Operating radiographic and fluoroscopy equipment to perform tests.
Applying shielding and using safety measures to limit radiation exposure to patients and staff.
Ensuring images are clear and accurate before sending them to radiologists.
Cleaning and performing basic maintenance on X-ray machines.
Maintaining patient records and documenting procedures in radiology information systems
