∎ The WATER SANITATION & HYGIENE (WaSH) PROGRAM MANAGER will identify and implement high quality activities which are appropriate and comprehensive, in conformity with overarching strategy and the standards set internationally, by ACF, by national policies and respecting the partner organization` policy.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mission 1: Contribute to Community capacity building and awareness raising on WASH, Nutrition,
∎ Rights and Primary Health care together with the partner organization.
∎ Awareness raising & behavior change on WASH, Nutrition & Community Health through courtyard & Community Groups
∎ Support frontline Health and Family Planning workers to conduct comprehensive nutritional counselling and primary health care services sessions with mothers of children aged below 2 years, adolescents and pregnant women
∎ Awareness & behavior change campaign on WASH, Nutrition, adolescent health & MHM in primary to secondary schools
∎ Strengthen referral linkage of MCHN between primary to secondary level services (Community Clinic, Union & Upazila level health facilities)
∎ Campaign for Child growth measurement and awareness (Stunting, Wasting, Underweight and obesity)
∎ Mass communication and campaigns on WASH, Nutrition and Community Health issues (safe water, sanitation and hygiene; Mother and Child Nutrition, IYCF, vitamin campaign, breastfeeding week, deworming 1,000-day (Essential Nutrition) campaign (Dhaka + District + UPZ + Union-Level, Unit Computed on Union Basis)
∎ Conduct orientation with the community to raising awareness on citizen's Access to information (A2i)
∎ Capacity development of Local and Micro entrepreneurs, particularly women of nutrition and WASH business
∎ Facilitate collaboration between communities & private sectors & ensuring access to quality inputs & products (WaSH materials, MHM materials, Nutrition & micro nutrient products, primary health care products & IG products such as seed, saplings, improved livestock etc.)
∎ Facilitate business linkage for Local Entrepreneurs/Micro Entrepreneurs with formal private sectors (Meeting, workshop and business fair)
∎ Mission 2: Identify needs and contribute to project elaboration along with Sensitization of Local Government and community Access to Information (A2I)
∎ Ensuring having the evidence on needs in public service delivery and to facilitate network building (Budget formulated based on UP Level)
∎ Organize Workshop with LGs, LAs, MPs and local opinion builders (CSOs, LEA) to develop networking & collaboration framework
∎ Dissemination of information on Social safety net and primary health care (SSNP) facilities issues across each of project areas
∎ Facilitate Joint dialogue & interface meeting to develop join develop joint action plan with GO, NGOs, CSOs, Community Groups & stakeholders
∎ Initiate media advocacy for strong evidence building across project areas/context
∎ Local level policy dialogue for formulating issues for national level advocacy,
∎ Participation and contribution to national level CSO network to uphold Haor interests utilizing Citizen's Platform for SDGs
∎ Participation in/organization of global CSO dialogue (such as UNESCAP or HLPF) to exchange experiences
∎ Mission 3: Advocacy In the local and national level
∎ Support to Capacity assessment and develop capacity building package for CSOs and relevant government staffs
∎ Support to Conduct Capacity building ( CSO and government staffs) events,
∎ Grass roots consultation together with partner to identify grass roots advocacy issues
∎ Monitor and follow-up the Monthly/quarterly UDCC meeting at Union level
∎ Participate in the Monthly/quarterly national coordination committee meeting at national level
∎ Support to Develop Gender Guideline and build capacity of Grassroots level, Support to MoU with private investor for private sector investment
∎ Development of CSOs and Local/Micro Entrepreneurs national body for decision making and voice raising to national government on WASH, Nutrition and Primary Health care
∎ Mission 4: Set up, implement and report on projects
∎ Setting up of the program(s) taking into account the logical framework of the program(s), the budget, and the logistical and administrative processes of ACF
∎ The quality of the programs established in conformity with the technical and project management standards of ACF
∎ Familiarizing him/herself thoroughly with his/her projects, the issues involved, the logical framework and indicators ; retaining printed copies of all funding agency contractual documents ; sharing all such information with his/her teams
∎ Identifying the technical constraints associated with the implementation of the projects
∎ Proposing innovative technical solutions in response to such constraints
∎ The implementation of technical recommendations concerning his/her project (Head of
∎ Department, Technical Advisor at Headquarters, Experts, Evaluators ...)
∎ Maintaining the profile of both the funding agency, ACF and partner organization on the project sites
∎ Preparing in time to meet deadlines the components of external and internal reports relating to his/her projects
∎ Identifying and implementing safety measures for both the teams and the wider population (building sites, community based sites ...)
∎ Mission 5: Contribute to the quality, accountability and impact measurement process of his/her program
∎ Promoting and taking part in the evaluation of the impact of his/her project (external assessment)
∎ Promoting and contributing to learning and improvement of quality (internal evaluation and joint visits)
∎ Implementing complaints procedures for ethical and transparency reasons, particularly in respect of the beneficiary populations
∎ Ensuring the required assessments and survey is put in place

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience:
∎ 5 years proven experience in the field of nutrition and or WASH sector
∎ At least 2 years' experience in Partnership management, coordination with stakeholders.
∎ 2- 3 years' experience in the management position
∎ Mandatory experience in social approach for the field of advocacy in the field of nutrition
∎ Proven experience on integrated project, training facilitation, local & Micro entrepreneurs, Community capacity building & awareness raising on WASH, Nutrition, Rights and Primary Health care, community engagement and related areas
∎ Skill:
∎ Fluency in English and Bangla.
∎ Demonstrates commitment to Humanitarian Principles
∎ Presentation, Influencing, diplomacy, Problem solving, Conflict resolution skills
∎ Database management of all the project activities and analysis / Final report / Capitalisation of the mission.
∎ Ability to communicate clearly with structured and high quality documentation skills.
∎ Ability to deliver in short deadlines under high pressure situations

Salary:
∎ Gross monthly Salary BDT 131,000/-

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 02 basic salary per year.
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary.
∎ End of Contract Benefits: End of Contract Benefits: 30 days of salary per year of service (No eligibility pro-rated under 1 year)
