Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have at least a four-year undergraduate degree in Environmental science/ Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) related subject or any relevant subject from a recognized university. - Master's degree with WASH/ Solid waste management related specialization from the reputed university is preferable.
Experience Requirements:

Since its formation, CNRS has been active in this field and has drawn the attention of relevant local, national and international actors including government and funding agencies through demonstrating innovations in its approaches and producing tangible learning outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have good understanding of the SWM/WASH activities, and factors that determines the success of project.
∎ Knowledge on sources of SWs, types of SWs, composition and properties, collection of SWs methods, storage, transportation, disposal, and recycling/ materials recovery are must.
∎ Data-base management of project activities.
∎ Prepare the monthly plan followed by project implementation plan.
∎ Preparation of event budget and other required documents in line with the project budget.
∎ Visit field regularly in the remote to ensure the quality implementation of project interventions like community based solid waste management.
∎ Development of tools for quantitative and qualitative data collection and regularly collect the required data.
∎ Proficient user of MS office word, excel, and power point and have knowledge of statistical analysis using MS office excel/ SPSS. Documentation of the progress of project activities, outputs, and immediate impact of the project activities.
∎ Track the progress of project activities and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual report.
∎ Preparation of good practice dissemination notes based on the experience gained from the plantation sites.
∎ Any other activities as assigned
∎ Key deliverables
∎ WASH officer will be the lead for the SWM activities under the supervision of project manager and supervise all the SWM activities under the project. He/ She will be also responsible for the proper documentations. Key deliverables:
∎ Monthly/ weekly work plan
∎ Monthly/ weekly reforestation updates/ report
∎ Need assessment report
∎ Database of SWM activities
∎ Environmental and health impact assessment report
∎ Documentation of good practices, etc
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years' experience in the implementation of WASH/ SWM project is required. Working experience in Cox's Bazar Rohingya context with donors like WFP, and UNHCR will be an added advantage.
∎ Efficient computer literacy (especially MS Office applications)
∎ Strong ability to work with the team
∎ Strong ability in problem-solving and decision-making.
∎ Skill in documentation, facilitation & reporting.
∎ Excellent communications skills in both English and Bangla
∎ Ability to work under pressure and under a multi-sectoral / multi-disciplined team approach
∎ Having non-discriminatory and gender-sensitive perception
∎ To protect children in connection
∎ Willingness and ability to drive a motorcycle in the field as and when required and should have a valid driving license
Salary:
∎ BDT 52,500/month (inclusive all)
