∎ Project Brief - The `JP Skills Development CXB-BC` is a multi-year skills development project in the refugee camps of Cox`s Bazar. The project has a target to reach a total of 1,600 participants (50 percent women) for vocational skills training which will be selected across the camps considering the suitability, capacity and availability of home/community facilities for training. The target of 1,600 has been selected according to the prequalification requirements for the vocational training. The Project ultimately aims to assist refugees to acquire transferable and portable skills relevant to the labour market needs in Myanmar and the camp contexts, that would support sustainable return and integration (in Myanmar) when conditions permit; while enabling refugees to maintain hope for the future and have dignified and productive lives in the camps, including through engagement in multi-sectorial camp-based activities, minor livelihood activities, and community works, with the utilization of acquired competencies. Accordingly, strategies will be geared towards enhancing skills development, economic and social empowerment, self-reliance of the Rohingya refugees pending durable solutions.
∎ Job Statement - The Vocational Supervisor (VS) will be responsible for the successful implementation of Skills Development Training under "Community Empowerment Promoted through Livelihoods and Skills Development Initiatives" program using 03 training centers in the refugee camps of Teknaf under the supervision of the Training Centre In-charge (TCiC). S/he will be responsible for facilitating the training to Myanmar Level-1 curriculum for the selected trades and to ensure appropriate teaching and learning practices to raise learners` standards and progress following the humanitarian principles and sector guidelines and standard. The VS will assist in proper mapping of the performance criteria of the specific trade selected through practical demonstration, work placement and internship within camp settings. S/he will need to take on challenges to ensure a rapid, effective and timely response, holding responsibility of the effective delivery of vocational courses with the refugee beneficiaries for project`s achievements and results.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the TCiC and AI on the enrolment of training participants (refugee beneficiaries of targeted age group) to a specific trade ensuring the prequalification criteria.
∎ Organize and facilitate practical session in consultation with the VTO as described in the Level-1 curriculum being followed for the learners of specific trades.
∎ To work in close collaboration with the VTO and AI to implement and administer all assessment and quality assurance procedures in/outside the classroom as directed by the Awarding Organization(s).
∎ Follow the instructions of the SDM in selecting appropriate work placement or internship within the camp settings for an individual learner at a certain stage of the course.
∎ To attend regular Progress and Standardization meetings.
∎ Participate ToT and relevant skill assessment of the project in consultation with TCiC.
∎ Coordinate with other VS to ensure all required M&E is completed.
∎ Analyze training needs and feedback on the courses needed for future planning/management information to modify and improve existing programs.
∎ Participate in focus group discussions to collect baseline data, build rapport with the community and obtain information to implement self-reliance activities.
∎ Ensure logistics support during training.
∎ Participate in appropriate in-service and workshop programs and attend any required meetings.
∎ To follow up and provide feedback to fellow VS and support their continuous professional development.
∎ Link former training participants with program/project activities.
∎ Reporting Activities - Support the TCiC and SDM on providing monthly report, progress and achievement of each individual learner in terms of their practical achievement, work placement/ internship status.
∎ To respond positively to any course or enrolment enquiries and to contribute to all aspects of this skilled development training publicity and learner recruitment programme.
∎ To respond to any reasonable request for learner information and to provide learner reports when necessary.
∎ General Activities - Assist project implementation team in conducting regular/monthly and need based meetings.
∎ Regularly update the senior management on project progress and challenges in the field and ensure their timely solutions.
∎ Ensure logistics and security to the project's staff as per organization's policies and procedures in coordination with Logistics department.
∎ Create congenial/friendly working environment for all staff members and ensure appropriate learning culture adhering to all safeguarding issues.
∎ Attend training/orientation as and when asked by the organization/ project management and participate in meetings, workshops and other events organized by other stakeholders and represent the project.
∎ Perform any other related duties or responsibilities when assigned by the organization/ project management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4-6 year(s) experience will be given more consideration and preference in case of Diploma in Agriculture holder candidates.
∎ Experience will be relaxed in case of candidates having Graduation or Post Graduation in Agriculture.
∎ Demonstrated experience in National Qualification Framework and National Skills Certificate (NSC) are highly preferred.
∎ Knowledge on National Skills Standards Authority (NSSA) of Myanmar would be an added advantage
∎ Experience in NSC course design and assessment through certified assessor also would be an added advantage.
∎ Knowledge of ASEAN Qualifications Reference Framework would be an added advantage.
∎ Knowledge of Rohingya dialect is desirable and experience in the Rohingya Camp Context will be preferred.
∎ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
∎ Willingness and ability to work in hardship environments.
∎ Excellent teamwork, and a proven track record of building trust within and empowering teams.
∎ Diplomacy, tact and negotiating skills are essential.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and reporting skills in English and effective interpersonal and negotiation skills, proven through successful interactions with all levels of stakeholder groups.

Salary: Tk. 45000 (Monthly)
